Haywood Regional Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission conducts a full survey of each organization every three years. On-site visits are unannounced. Benefits of being accredited by The Joint Commission include organization and strengthening of patient safety efforts as well as improving the quality and safety of care, treatment and services.
