Pelvic Physical Therapy Program

About the Program

The Pelvic Physical Therapy program at Haywood Regional is able to offer conservative assistance with many pelvic issues. We take a comprehensive approach addressing alignment, internal pelvic instruction and treatment as needed, muscle tightness patterns in surrounding joints, breathing patterns, lifestyle, exercise, behavioral issues, and stress level in addition to specific examination of pelvic floor, urethra, bladder, rectum and internal hip musculature.
An evaluation takes 1 hour. Treatments typically occur once a week for four weeks. Variations in this plan are based on level of dysfunction, ability to correctly perform a contraction, and amount of education in multiple areas needed.

We are an inclusive environment that is LGBTQIA affirming and kink informed. We strive to provide an environment where you can feel safe in discussing any of your specific pelvic health needs.

We look forward to working with you to achieve your goals and live the life that's more convenient, comfortable, and fulfilling.
