Ambulatory Infusion Therapy is the administration of medications or fluids into the bloodstream through a needle or catheter. At Haywood Regional Medical Center’s Homestead location, we offer Ambulatory Infusion services in a safe, comfortable environment with relaxing treatment rooms and attentive staff. Our team includes Registered Nurses specializing in infusion services, a Certified Nursing Assistant and a dedicated Infusion Secretary.

  • Hematologic Disorders (Anemia, Iron deficiency anemia, etc.)

  • Infectious Diseases (Osteomyelitis, UTI, Cellulitis, etc.)
  • Osteoporosis and Bone Disorders
  • Neurologic Disorders (Multiple Sclerosis, Myasthenia Gravis, CIDP, etc.)
  • Rheumatologic Disorders (Rheumatoid and Psoriatic Arthritis, Lupus, etc.)

  • Accepting new patients
  • Provider referral required and must include:
    • Provider order
    • Current history and physical
    • Applicable lab results
    • Insurance authorization
    • Demographic sheet
  • Appointments scheduled directly by Infusion staff
  • Same day appointments available for select services
