Haywood Regional Medical Center Welcomes Tina Dies, FNP-C, to Haywood Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center

Haywood Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is pleased to welcome Tina Dies, FNP-C, to its medical staff. Dies currently sees patients at Haywood Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center.

A board-certified family nurse practitioner, Dies brings more than 13 years of nursing experience across a wide range of clinical settings, including home health, hospice care, pediatrics and primary care to her role. Additionally, she brings specialized expertise in wound assessment and management, including wound debridement, negative pressure wound therapy, and compression therapy.

“We are very pleased to welcome Tina to Haywood Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center,” said Sue Shugart, FACHE, CPPS, chief executive officer of HRMC. “Her depth of experience and compassionate, patient-focused approach enhance the high level of care we provide for patients with chronic and non-healing wounds. Tina is a strong addition to a team that is deeply committed to improving healing outcomes and quality of life for our community.”

Dies earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse in North Carolina.

Haywood Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center provides advanced wound care services for patients with chronic, non-healing or complex wounds. In addition to comprehensive wound management, the center offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy using specialized chambers to support healing by increasing oxygen delivery to damaged tissue.
