Haywood Regional Medical Center announces addition of family medicine provider Daniel Labra, PA-C, to medical staff

Haywood Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Daniel Labra, PA-C, to its medical staff. Labra will see patients at Mountain Medical Associates, located at 600 Hospital Drive in Clyde.

Labra earned his Master of Clinical Medical Science from Barry University and brings a strong clinical background with experience in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine and trauma care.

During his training, Labra gained experience in high-acuity settings, including emergency departments and a Level I trauma center, where he developed skills in rapid clinical decision-making, patient education and comprehensive care planning. He also completed clinical rotations in family medicine and pediatrics, providing care across all stages of life.

Labra chose to pursue family medicine for the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and provide care across the lifespan. He is passionate about empowering patients to better understand their health, manage conditions and take an active role in their care.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Labra has long enjoyed spending time in western North Carolina and was drawn to the region’s strong sense of community and natural beauty. He looks forward to contributing both as a healthcare provider and as an active member of the community.
