Outpatient Rehabilitation

Outpatient services are a good option to aid in recovery and rehabilitation in cases of minor injuries, illnesses or medical events.

During your first visit to outpatient rehabilitation, your therapist will complete an assessment and ask you about your goals for recovery and adaptation. Those goals will become progress markers for you and your therapy team.

We currently provide outpatient services at two locations on the campus of Haywood Regional Medical Center at Haywood Regional Health & Fitness Center and at the Outpatient Care Center.

We offer a variety of rehab and physical therapy services:

• Hand therapy
• Lymphedema therapy
• Occupational therapy
• Pediatric therapy
• Pelvic floor therapy
• Physical therapy
• Pulmonary rehab
• Speech therapy
• Sports medicine

During treatment, patients learn how to reach maximum potential in regaining function, strength, mobility, self-care, endurance and balance. An individualized care plan is created for each patient and specifically designed to meet the needs and goals of that patient after injury, illness or any other disabling event.
