January 4, 2017
As the world welcomed in a new year Ashly and Michael welcomed a new baby girl. Haywood Regional Medical Center (HRMC) celebrated the year’s first bundle of joy on Monday, Jan. 2nd, at 9:24 p.m. weighing in at eight pounds and one ounce and measuring 22 inches. Baby Adalynn made a healthy and celebratory entrance.
Delivering the first baby of the year was Dr. Joseph Niner, MD. “I gratefully work alongside an outstanding team of clinical and support staff to bring new life into this world. 2017 is going to be a phenomenal year for our women’s care unit, and I am thankful to be a part of the journey,” said Niner. “We strive to ensure each patient and family have the best experience possible, and we are dedicated to our passion to deliver high quality and compassionate care.”
“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Haywood Regional. We had so much one on one attention and we are so excited about our baby girl. We wouldn’t have had it any other way,” said Ashly.
Among the celebrations, HRMC presented gifts to the new family which included a basket full of diapers and wipes, blankets, swaddle blankets, clothes, embroidered blankets, a baby health care and grooming kit, along with a Medela Pump in Style breast pump, a $500 value.
