Haywood Regional Medical Center Increases Visitor Restrictions
July 28, 2021Haywood Regional Medical Center (HRMC) announced today that it is increasing its visitor restrictions as COVID-19 cases increase in the community. The updated restrictions, effective Friday, July 30, include limiting visitation to one well visitor per patient at a time and prohibiting visitors under 18 years old.

Cole recently spoke with us about their decision to have James at Haywood Regional Medical Center and what makes a community hospital special. "We learned we were pregnant in October, and to be honest, we were a little nervous about a smaller hospital. But, after we got to know the doctors at Haywood Women’s, it was a no-brainer for us."

Haywood Regional Medical Center Lifts Additional Visitation Restrictions
June 23, 2021Haywood Regional Medical Center (HRMC) announced that it has lifted additional visitation restrictions as of June 23, 2021. New guidelines will allow guests of all ages to visit inpatients and accompany outpatients or those seeking ER care. General visitation hours are 10:00 am – 6:30 pm. The new guidelines are effective immediately.
