Haywood Regional Medical Center announces graduation of 10 students from its fall Nurse Aide I training program
November 12, 2024The 140-hour accelerated course combines classroom, lab, and clinical experience to prepare students to assist nurses in patient care, meeting North Carolina Board of Nursing standards. Graduates are eligible to continue work at HRMC as patient care assistants (PCAs), providing essential bedside care to patients and vital assistance to nursing staff.

Haywood Regional Medical Center hosts inaugural breast cancer survivors’ event 'Radiant Resilience', honoring survivors and their challenging journey through breast cancer
October 31, 2024Approximately 80 attendees gathered at Lake Junaluska’s Warren Center for a night filled with hope, inspiration, and community support. The event brought together breast cancer survivors from HRMC’s breast care program over the last two years, along with their guests and dedicated hospital staff and physicians.
